Fitbrisk started after one too many resistance bands snapped mid-set and one too many mats went flat within a season. The gear on offer online all looked the same in photos, but the materials underneath varied wildly, and there was no way to tell the difference until something failed in your hands.
So we started working directly with small producers of natural rubber, cotton webbing and EVA foam, and built a habit of checking a sample from every batch by hand before it's packed. It's slower than just reselling whatever shows up cheapest, but it means what leaves our Leeds workshop is what we'd use ourselves.
We sell directly, without a retail markup stacked on top, and every order goes out tracked from Kirkstall Road. If something's wrong, you're dealing with the same small team that packed it, not a support queue three companies removed from the product.
How We Keep Quality Consistent
Every batch of bands, mats and straps is sampled and checked by hand against its original spec before it's packed for dispatch. We'd rather hold a batch back for a second look than send out something we're not confident in.
Straight Talk
We describe what gear is made of and what it can realistically do, without dressing it up. If a product isn't right for your training, we'll say so before you buy it.
Material Honesty
Every band, mat and strap lists its actual materials on the product page. We'd rather lose a sale than let someone assume something that isn't true.
Local Accountability
We work out of Leeds and answer our own emails, so if something's wrong with an order, you're talking to the person who can actually fix it.
